Video about the Gps Parcela app

The Gps Parcela app is intended for all land owners who want to locate their land parcels and corner points.
This is important in the case that the owner knows the identification number of the cadastral parcel, but does not know the exact location of the land parcel, mainly because the land is wooded and bushy, without boundary markers.

The app can receive location data from two sources.
The first source is the built-in GPS receiver of the smartphone.
However, the accuracy of GPS coordinates in this case varies between 1 and 3 meters, which is quite enough for navigation to the land parcel. The app uses the FOREGROUND SERVICE TYPE_LOCATION for this case of navigation.

The second source is an external Bluetooth GNSS receiver that has RTK correction capability. In this case, the accuracy of the GSP coordinates is one centimeter, which is necessary to precisely locate the boundary lines and points of a land parcel. The app uses the FOREGROUND SERVICE TYPE_CONNECTED_DEVICE for this case of navigation.
Foreground services are automatically activated when the app is launched.

As a first step, the user needs to get the coordinates from the web geoportal.
He can then enter the coordinates for each corner point directly into the app.
User needs to tap the land parcel button to display map of the selected land parcel.
The land parcel corner is labeled with a yellow color marker.

Step 2 is navigation to the land parcel
FOREGROUND SERVICE TYPE_LOCATION will provide the current coordinates of the current position of the user.
The user will walk towards the land parcel with a smart phone in his hands.
User will know with relative accuracy that he is on his land parcel when a green marker (that indicates the position of user smartphone on the map) shows that user is within the boundaries of his land parcel.

Step 3 is the precise locating of parcel corners
FOREGROUND SERVICE TYPE_CONNECTED_DEVICE will provide connection to the external Bluetooth GNSS RTK receiver and enable discovery and pairing of the selected Bluetooth receiver. In this way, the app can receive from the receiver the precise coordinates of the current position with a period of one second.
To begin, the user needs to tap the Bluetooth discovery button.
Then the user needs to select and pair the Bluetooth receiver from the list of detected Bluetooth devices.
After that, the user can tap the "Connect to GNSS receiver" button.
The user will know with high accuracy that he is standing on the land parcel corner when the magenta marker (indicating the position of the Bluetooth receiver on the map) overlaps with the yellow marker showing the position of the land parcel corner.

And then, he can drive a stake into the ground to mark the location of the corner point.
